My appreciation for the perfect t-shirt began when I was six years old. I had a light blue one stenciled with a picture of Shaun Cassidy —
my crush of the moment —
that I wore everywhere. I tried to wear it every day, but my dad was clever about hiding the laundry.
More recently, my obsession has led me to James Perse. Each style drapes perfectly, is super soft and comes in stunning neutral colours, making them worth the small splurge. So think of my excitement when I discovered JP was doing furniture.
The line launched this spring and offers the same laid-back luxe as the clothing. above is the cross Creek Directors Chair, Balfour dining Table, Hillcrest Console and Colony Chair. The craftsman Sofa is below.
Here’s a better look at the Hillcrest Console.
The furniture is sold exclusively in James Perse boutiques but they will ship to Canada, with some restrictions.
Next up is a James Perse boutique hotel in Baja that will turn the lifestyle brand into a full-on experience. though still in development, I’m already dreaming of a amazing California getaway
weekend. until then, I’ll get my JP fix from this long racerback dress, perfect for casual drinks on a warm summer evening.
